Our Cheadle Hulme Elder and Local Leader, Bernie Stevens, has been awarded an MBE for his 50 years of work in Kinder Mountain Rescue Team and youthwork with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and the Scouts, in Stockport Greater Manchester.
Bernie will be invested in March as a civilian Member Of The Most Excellent Order Of The British Empire in a ceremony at Windsor Castle by a member of the royal family.
