We encourage group use of our facilities as a community resource; see Outreach~Community Groups. Regular users can book at a discount to recognise the reduced admin effort.

MAIN HALL availability:

Mon ~Fri; please enquire.

Saturday; has a regular booking am & pm until 1900hr.

Sunday; available for children’s parties after 1300hr.

The Main Hall includes use of kitchen, complete with…

cutlery, crockery and utensils, commensurate with feeding 60~80 dependent on formality.

a single large domestic cooker; 4 gas rings, grill and oven plus an upright fridge-freezer with 2 sinks and a drainer, though the hot water system is very slow indeed.

2 microwave cookers, 4 slice toaster, boiler and 3 large electric kettles.

12 folding tables and 12 small playgroup (coffee?) tables, including 80 adult +15 child chairs.

The Coffee Lounge has a kitchette for drinks & refreshments with 28 chairs and 7 square tables.

There is limited access to kitchen facilities from the Sanctuary, though it is possible to set drinks etc on table.

Badminton just fits in the main hall

There is an expectation of reasonable use of heat and lighting, limited cleaning materials and very limited disposal facilities. Our hygiene target is moving ‘towards commercial standards’.

There are the usual toilet facilities including disabled access (with baby changing).

First aid facilities are limited. Free WiFi for responsible users. There is an emergency telephone and a large hand lamp for the Fire Marshal. Entertainers and reasonable bouncy castles are allowed, but you should check their insurance.
